A journal from the time John Harris traveled from San Bernardino to the Greenwood area in El Dorado County. Dated from July 10, 1855 to 1856.

The journal starts Feb. 20, 1846 at South Bend, Indiana and ends at Council Bluff [in] Nebraska--resumes again at Salt Lake City, Utah, as they began their journey to San Bernardino, and ends in 1852.
