Dr. Martin Luther Djiche Osse was appointed regional coordinator of Africa in 2024, and today helps to oversee 16 active ministries on the continent. His original connection with the Luke Society dates back to 2005 when he left his native Niger to begin the Centre Medico-Social Luc au Jourdain ministry in N’Dali, Benin. What began as a one-person operation has grown to a staff of nearly 40. Martin has a life-long passion for sharing the Gospel and healing souls. He is a trained surgeon, specializing in cleft lip and palate reconstruction. Martin and his wife, Kadi, live in N’Dali, where they have two sons involved in the ministry and one daughter in medical school.

Dr. Julius Surjadi was added to the team of regional coordinators in 2007 to oversee the ministries in Asia. Surjadi has been working in the Papua, Indonesia, region since 1997, and joined up with the Luke Society for a ministry there in 2000. Surjadi provides guidance for eight ministries in Asia. He is a visionary on many topics, which enhances his ability to understand and serve the people of his region. He is a gifted communicator whose experience in transforming health in the most primitive communities and villages allows him to work effectively with many different people groups. Julius lives in Salatiga, Indonesia, with his wife, Debby. They have two children.

Dr. Pal Oroszi has been been the regional coordinator in Eastern Europe since 2005 and provides leadership to four ministries. One of those ministries is his own, the Luke Society Transcarpathia, which was founded in 1997. The Eastern Europe regional coordinator position was established in 1999 with Dr. Augustin Batis of Romania providing leadership the first six years. Pal is a humble and strong Christian leader whose willingness to serve the Lord in a difficult place and time is commendable. He is a humble and dedicated leader who approaches his role as director with vision and tenacity. Pal and his wife, Jolika, live in Munkacs, Ukraine. They have four children.

Dr. Francisco Moraga
Latin America

Dr. Fracisco Moraga began his duties as regional coordinator for Latin American in 2024. He helps to give guidance to 10 ministries in Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Francisco has been a familiar face within the Luke Society since 2001 when he begana ministry called Fundación San Lucas in Jinotepe, Nicaragua. The ministry is focused on bettering the living conditions of his own people though better sanitation, clean water distribution and improved economics. Today, Francisco’s wife, Reyna, directs the ministry in Jinotepe, where the couple lives. They have two children, both of whom work in medical fields.
