Accused serial killer Susan Monica breaks down, says, 'I can't bear to watch'

Susan Monica, accused of killing two men and then abusing their corpses, broke down during her trial this morning and Jackson County Circuit Judge Tim Barnack hastily called a recess.

After the jurors left the courtroom, the 66-year-old Wimer pig farmer and welder told the judge, "I can't bear to watch," referring to her taped confessions being played before the jury. She then was escorted out of the courtroom by the bailiff while attorneys conferred on how to proceed.
