Since childhood I have been drawing, I liked it. Expecting great growth and new knowledge, I entered art school, but my expectations were absolutely not met. I was disappointed that teachers raise artists as if they were following a pattern.

Having abandoned painting, I went into the world of sports. I followed in the footsteps of my uncle and grandfather into volleyball. Many awards, several national teams. But time passed, and the soul rushed about in search of peace. Echoes of my love for drawing were visible in the pictures where I depicted cars and motorcycles in children’s watercolors. This is my passion. This love for hardware gave me many friends, many conversations until the morning and a little hope that I would find myself as an artist.

Many years later, I pick up a brush and paint my first big picture. In a fit of anger. In a state of despair. Having come to terms with my situation at that moment. Exhausted, desperate, but at the same time full of hope. And now I feel an unusual lightness. An extraordinary feeling, as if I were slowly walking out of the house into the forest, early in the morning, when fog and dew were following me on my heels. Freedom and a wild desire to run forward, absorbing every particle of what is around me.

This is how I want to start my old path as an artist. Shake off the dust from long-forgotten ideas. Passionately, reveling in the process, creating emotions and perpetuating feelings. Run along the road, taking you along with you.
