The genus Eriophorum of Renfrew County:
A comparative study

Eriophorum vaginatum Linnaeus, Tussock cottongrass

Eriophorum vaginatum is common in the northwestern portion of Renfrew County, found in bogs. It differs from the other members of the Eriophorum genus with its tussock forming habit (Figure 3) and early blooming (late May to early June).
