E-scooter vs. e-bike: what makes building a mass-market electric motorcycle a challenging ride

Look around you. A quick glance and you’ll see more motorcycles than scooters on any Indian road. That’s par for the course for the country — for every scooter, two motorcycles hit the roads. Now shift your gaze to motorcycles with green number plates. Things change, and rather dramatically. While there are a few electric motorcycles in the Indian market, there aren’t many that are seen with a fraction of the regularity of electric scooters.
