Description

Variegated meadowsweet is a version of meadowsweet with pale yellow splotching on the leaves. It's also a bit more compact. Just like the straight species, variegated meadowsweet likes adequate water and decent soil. We grow meadowsweet in part shade here in our southern garden.

Meadowsweet is responsible for the development of aspirin and is also consumed as an herb in several European cultures. It's a must for the apothecary or kitchen garden.
