Fieldfare (Turdus pilaris)

In Sweden, the population of the fieldfare has declined by 25 % in the last 15 years. We list it as near threatened (NT) since 2020.

It breeds in forests in northern Europe and throughout the Palearctic, but there is no reliable information on the global population. According to the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature), the species is not endangered.
