Changes for New CGC E-mail Server
Outlook 2000, Outlook Express

1. Select Tools
– Accounts… to access your account(s).
2. Select the Mail
account to change, then click the Properties
button.
3. Under the General
tab, be sure the Name field is set
to your complete name, as shown in the example.
Generic account names should identify CGC, your plant location, and
department, such as CGC Pineville Customer Service. This is the name displayed to message
recipients, and so should be complete.
4. Under the Servers
tab, set both the Incoming and Outgoing mail server to smtp.containergraphics.com, turn on the
My server requires authentication
checkbox, then click the Settings…
button.
5. Set up Outgoing Server authentication, then click OK.
6. Select the Advanced
tab, and set up the Outgoing Server port.
Also make sure the Leave a copy
of messages on server checkbox is off.
Click OK when done.
7. If you have multiple CGC accounts that you
monitor, change the other accounts in the same fashion. Click Close
when done.
